We share the views expressed by Wim Groenendijk, the president of Gas LNG Europe, a subdivision of Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE), and vice-president of GIE. However, we believe that the EU officials should be much more vocal defending conventional LNG against bio-LNG. Yes it is trendy to mention renewable energy. But he truth is that it still emits high levels of particulate matter and the full life cycle has high carbon emission profile too.
